Former Doctor Faces Sexual Assault Charges Involving Thirty-Eight Individuals in His Care
Legal authorities report that a ex- doctor stands accused of committing sexual assaults against 38 victims who were under his care.
Details of the Serious Charges
Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with numerous acts of sexual assault – some of which involve acts against children younger than 13 – spanning the period from 2017 to 2021.
A deputy chief CPS official stated, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to support a detailed and complex police inquiry, carefully reviewing the available evidence to determine that there is a strong case to bring the case to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.”
Scope of the Police Inquiry
These allegations come after what police described as a “complex investigation” into alleged sexual offences at medical facilities: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and a facility in Dudley.
Spencer is scheduled to appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.

- Fifteen counts of assault.
- 17 counts of penetrative assault.
- Nine counts of assault on a minor under thirteen.
